Whale Watching!!
We offer 2 departures daily, for both our sailing yacht whale watching and also for our speedboat whale watching. Not sure which to choose from? No problem… do both!! Subject to availability, you could even do one in the morning, and the other in the afternoon!
Some larger groups choose to put the kiddos & an adult on the speedboat, while the adults enjoy their fine wine, free beer & bubbly aboard a luxury sailing yacht. It’s your Ocean – we’re just here to sail you around on it!

Sunset sails are serene & can be romantic! Enjoy the soothing sound of the parting seawater for a hearty 3-hours, as your silent sailing yacht cuts through the sea.

All-Day Sails!!
None of our sailing or speedboat excursions are ever less than 3 hours, but for those that want to go even further out into the Pacific Ocean, where land is no longer visible… we offer an all-day 6-hour sail that includes a gourmet lunch sandwich of your choice.

That’s right! Sail San Diego owns & operates a 34-foot Luhrs fishing boat for 1/2, 3/4, Full-Day & even overnight private fishing charters. Our guests catch Tuna, Yellowtail, Halibut, Dorado & more! We provide all of the rods & reels, bait, beer, fish cleaning and meals on the longer trips.

Bachelorette Parties!!
Sail San Diego is San Diego’s go-to venue for bachelorette parties, and we even have special packages available to choose from including custom T-shirts, a garter for the bride, and other special gifts.

Rum Runners!!
For those that like to enjoy a couple mixed drinks, and not just wine & beer, no problem! We can accommodate your group of 4 or more (Mon – Thursday) or 6 or more (Friday – Sunday) for our exciting Rum Runner sailing excursion. Your captain will pull your sailing yacht over at the VIP dock of two of San Diego Bay’s upscale restaurants and we’ll even buy your first round of drinks, at each stop!
Once your group is good and “watered up”, you’ll set sail in the open Pacific Ocean or San Diego Bay (your choice), or both for the remainder of your 3.5-hour experience.
Corporate Events!!
Sail San Diego regularly hosts corporate groups of 6 to 60+ passengers aboard our fleet 40-foot modern day sailing yachts. Google, Wells Fargo, Loomis & Orange Theory Fitness have all been out with us, just in the last year! Host your corporate get together, team-building function or business meeting on the water, in style!
Sailing Lessons!!
Do some sailing lessons with our US Coast Guard-licensed captains aboard our 22-foot lesson boat, and then aboard one of the “big boys” (our 40-foot sailing yachts)!
