On a Public Sail, you will be on one of our 40ft Catalina Sailing Yachts.

Public Sails are limited to 6 guests per boat. For example, a group of 4 might be paired with a group of 2.

Absolutely! We are delighted to inform you that our team comprises San Diego’s most skilled Captains, each holding a valid license from the United States Coast Guard.

All ages are welcome. For anyone under the age of 13, a life jacket must be worn. Don’t worry, we have an array of kids life jackets in all sizes.

Yes! We have an array of complimentary Beers, Seltzers, Waters and Soda as well as light snacks for you to enjoy while underway. We also have healthy and gluten-free options as well.

We did the morning tour and this was one of the best San Diego experiences we have done. From start to finish everything was easy. The sailboat was beautiful. Check in was quick and on time. We went on the morning sail and it was a perfect way to start the day. This great deal allowed all 3 of to have the most memorable 2 hours of our trip to San Diego. Wish we could’ve sailed all day! What a Wonderful Morning
Morning Sail
What a wonderful group to work with. We had the perfect morning, saw so much wildlife, learned about the military in the area and saw beautiful sights. Our daughter was able to steer the sailboat for a while and learned about how the wind impacted the sails. If you go, use Sail San Diego. You wont be disappointed. Morning Sail
This was exactly what we needed for a chill morning on the water. Captain Cam was very professional and knowledgeable. The boat was beautiful and very clean. My daughter and I sat on the bean bags up front which was so relaxing. The boat had drinks and snacks available as well as a spacious cabin area and clean bathroom. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone looking for a great sailing experience!
