Please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to your departure time to allow time to park and check in.

A physical boarding pass is required to board your assigned sailboat. Your boarding pass will be provided when you check in at the Sail San Diego Office.

Parking Info

Parking in the area is limited, especially during the summer months. If you are driving yourself, we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior to your departure time to allow ample time to park and check in at the office.

If you choose one of these paid parking options, we recommend downloading the app Park Smarter. If your meter expires while your sail is underway, you’ll be able to add more time from your phone.

Important Rideshare Info

Because parking can be challenging, we often recommend using rideshare to get to Sail San Diego. Our preferred rideshare service is Lyft.

If you choose to use Uber, please input the actual address 2720 Shelter Island Drive, San Diego, California 92106 into the app, and NOT the name of our company. They do not have our current address saved in their system, and have been known to drop guests off at our old location.

Sail San Diego does not have a parking lot. Please refer to the map for available free and metered parking in the area.
