Whale Watching in San Diego
There are so many fun activities in San Diego for tourists & locals alike. Are you into animals? The San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park & Sea World could take several days, each, to fully explore. Whale watching in San Diego is another popular option and one that – unlike the other activities mentioned above – is not available year-round.
From approximately mid-December through April, the Pacific Gray Whales migrate South from Alaska to Mexico, passing through the waters just off the coast of San Diego. During this time, Sail San Diego offers several different options for going whale watching in San Diego.

For those with a need for speed, we also offer two departures daily for our 2.5-hour speedboat whale watching in San Diego aboard our 34-foot, 350-horsepower powerboat. Free parking is included.
