Parades of Lights
Yes, that’s plural! We’ve already posted about the Parade of Lights that is being held in San Diego’s Big Bay. But what about San Diego’s “Little Bay” (Mission Bay)? Mission Bay has it’s own Parade of Lights, as well! In fact, it’s possible for marine light parade enthusiasts to see all three parades (the Big Bay’s parade actually occurs twice, 2 Sundays in a row), as the Mission Bay Parade of Lights is to be held this coming Saturday, Dec. 9th. (The Big Bay’s Parade of Lights begins on Sunday, Dec. 10).
Unlike the Big Bay Parade of Lights, the Mission Bay Parade of Lights is 100% free for participating vessels to enter.
