From the Docks – Family Outings in San Diego

In business since 1988, Sail San Diego offers sailing fun & lasting memories for the whole family. Sailing is an adventure for guests of all ages, including children. Many of our guests are brand-new to boating; after sailing with us, most end up falling in love with sailing & spending time on the water. Although we’ve never had to use them once since our inception in 1988, life vests are available onboard for all guests. By Coast Guard regulations, all of our honored guests age 12 & under must keep them on at all times while we’re underway.

A private family adventure aboard one of Sail San Diego’s luxury sailing yachts is one of the best ways to take in the sights of America’s Finest City & the San Diego coastline. Kids especially get excited about seeing the marine life in the Ocean, as it’s often their first time seeing seals, sea lions & dolphins in the wild. Our boats are fully stocked with sodas, beer, drinking water & snacks for the whole family to enjoy. Help yourself; everything’s included!

Most families book a private boat, just to themselves (with the Captain, of course), but smaller families are welcome to book a few seats on one of our group (shared) trips, as well.
