a small boat in a body of water

GENERAL

Is Sail San Diego Open?

We are now open.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is very straight forward and friendly. Please call us at least 72 hours prior to your departure time for a full refund.

Can I buy out the whole boat for my group for a private sail?

Yes! That is a great way to play it safe.

What cleaning measures are you taking on your sailboats?

Our crew has stepped up the already thorough cleaning measures taken after each trip. The deck and outer surfaces are scrubbed daily. Handles, rails and inside surfaces of the boat are scrubber are further disinfected with appropriate cleaners. Disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer is available onboard for use during the trip.

Are you going to take my temperature?

NO, but please do not board the boat with a temperature over 100.4.

This all sounds like a lot of restrictions, is this trip still going to be fun?

Yes! What doesn’t sound better right now than getting out in the fresh air and sailing? You have the unique opportunity to sail from beautiful, modern day sailing yachts with a small number of people onboard!

ON THE BOAT

How many people will be on the boat?

The number of people allowed on the boat will likely vary with each trip type.

For group trips, our capacity will be limited to 6 total passengers.

For private and bare-boat charters, we will be limited to a total of 10 guests.

Can I go inside the cabin onboard?

Due to distancing requirements, we are asking all passengers to use the cabin sparingly, mainly if you need to use the head (restroom) or grab a beverage or snack.

Do I need to wear a mask?

Per CDC guidelines, Sail San Diego is no longer requiring any guests to wear a mask.
